Nothing But Vibes: PYNRS Celebrates Run Culture On Newbury St

Culture Tap recently had the pleasure of working with a Boston-based performance apparel brand PYNRS during this year's Boston Marathon. We mainly delivered social media strategy and ensured the content was consistent with their brand voice.

Where we were wowed, however, was with the work put in by their event producer and designer. Curation Agency and The Sofenomenal Agency Group collaborated on making sure the space fully integrated the look and feel of the brand, while communicating the experience of run culture as it feels when it has diverse representation.

Sidney Baptista, the founder of PYNRS, also founded Pioneers Run Crew - a crew founded in Boston in 2017 that runs mainly through the many diverse neighborhoods in the city. PYNRS also has a strong connection with run crews in other cities; extending love and support to run crews in other cities who showed up to Boston such as District Running Collective, We Run Uptown, and Prolyfyck Run Crew.

The pop-up was positioned specifically to celebrate running culture and all of its glories, with events kicking off roughly a week before the Boston Marathon. Uniting the running community together for panel discussions, active participation (Spin The Block), and community, in partnership with Brooks Running, Long Distance mag, Ciele, and Maurten.

In partnership with Marathon Sports, the space was also shared with Hoka, Saucony, and Brooks Running, bringing specific elements of their brands to life. Hoka created a powerful activation in collaboration with Citius Magazine—a media platform that does a great job of highlighting professional track & field and long distance running.

If you’re interested in partnering with Culture Tap on reaching consumers in the running community, feel free to reach out.
